Isabel Amado
Since 2024, her artistic practice has centered on paintings that depict the body as a symbolic territory, shaped by processes of metamorphosis. Within this space, the feminine emerges in a plural form, constantly shifting and in motion, engaging in an intimate dialogue with tropical nature, ancestry, and the spiritual dimensions embedded in Brazilian culture. Her research also explores psychic interiority, investigating symbolic transformations, emotional states, and the construction of an expanded femininity through visual narratives and the expressive use of color. She is currently dedicated to deepening her investigations into processes of expressivity and movement, exploring the fusion between the human and the organic, as well as the potential of painting as a space for connection between memory, spirituality, and sensory experience.
