Thorsten Ritzmann

The german photographer and artist Thorsten Ritzmann works in a dynamic field of tension between synthetic cubism, the artificial-natural objectivity of Steven Shore, German expressionism, the subtle surface geometry of Lionel Feininger and the futuristic-looking defragmentation of Pep Ventosa. Ritzmann prints his works on metal-plates. He calls his style (loosely based on Steven Shore) ‘the uncommon moments’. ‘The artificiality of natural staging’
