Best american artist 2022

The first edition of our Best American Artist art competition is now over! We would like to thank everyone involved in order to present a solid art show!

Below you can see the winners and a spotlight with some of the strongest contestants!

First winner

Reina Mun works in the field of design and new media art. Mainly through interactive objects, sophisticated devices, and speculative design, her works reimagine existing ideas and conceive alternate perceptions of what is accepted. With playful design language and interactivity, her works aim to provide the user with space for reflections on topics ranging from social, techno-politics, and ubiquitous matters.

Second winner
Lukasz Leja @lukaszleja is a New York City-based artist, originally from Poland. Leja pursues figurative paintings, and the subject of his work is love and sex. He uses oil and paints on old canvases that he finds on the streets. As a trained architect, he creates geometrically pleasing compositions with live human bodies.

Third Winner

JUJU is a young artist from Chicago, IL and the creative mind behind collective [MNGO.S]. His use of bold, vivid colors, as well as his subject matter, mixed seamlessly with use of text sets him apart from any other artist. He has traveled across the US, showcasing his work in various "Art Battle" competitions. His paintings give an intense, yet intriguing vibe, visually walking you through the mind of “JUJU”, unraveling various life experiences.
