The Holy Art meets Keith Malone

Keith Malone is a multidisciplinary artist based in Dublin, Ireland. Preferring to work on a large scale, he views his works as heavily researched investigations into the structure of art and art history. Focusing particularly on the nuances of artistic identity and consciousness, as well as interrogating the merits of expression and critiquing the institutional values placed on art.

Material plays an important role in his work. He constructs his paintings from scratch, often using found materials and wood, as opposed to canvas, because it allows for rougher handling of materials as well as accommodating harsher, more destructive mediums.
