Oksana Rohovska

The artist has been passionately drawing since early childhood, fueled by the inspiration of picturesque Ukrainian landscapes. Their connection with nature is evident in their early works, where every scene painted reflects the beauty of the environment around them. Graduated from art school and furthered their studies at Ternopil University, D. Halytskyi, specializing in Fine Arts Education. Completed a master’s degree at the Lviv Academy of Arts, enhancing their artistic skills and knowledge. Works across various genres and techniques. Particularly drawn to recreating the beauty of nature and portraying the complexities of the human soul in portraits. Predominantly uses acrylic and oil paints while also exploring innovative materials, such as coffee and woolen painting, as well as paintings on glass. Participated in numerous international collective exhibitions and had personal exhibitions in Ukraine, Poland, France, Dubai and Ireland. Notable events include: solo exhibitions in Ireland within the last three years; international exhibition in Wexford titled "ART OPEN AIR"; presentation of non-traditional techniques in a Dublin exhibition showcasing Ukrainian artists; display of glass works at an exhibition dedicated to St. Brigid in Ireland. In 2019, the artist launched a collection of woolen handbags and accessories at Lviv Fashion Week, receiving recognition from notable patrons, including the wife of the third President of Ukraine, Kateryna Yushchenko. Now residing and working in Ireland, the artist continues to share their unique vision through various exhibitions, showcasing a blend of Ukrainian heritage and contemporary artistry. Their works are held in private collections worldwide, spanning countries such as England, the USA, Australia, France, Ireland, and Poland. The artist’s journey is one of continuous exploration and creativity, bridging cultural influences from Ukraine to Ireland, and reflecting a deep appreciation for nature and human expression.
