1. Inspiration & Style
What initially inspired you to become an artist, and how did you develop your unique artistic style?
Answer: I was first inspired to paint as a way to express quiet emotions and beauty in everyday life. Over time, my style developed through observing nature, light, and small peaceful moments around me. I enjoy creating colourful, gentle scenes that combine imagination with real places and memories.

2. Creative Process
Do you have any rituals or routines that help you get into a creative mindset when starting a new project?
Answer: Before starting a new project, I like to look carefully at colours, light, and the atmosphere I want to create. I often begin with a feeling rather than a fixed plan, and then slowly build the image through layers of colour and detail.

3. Artistic Influences
How do you balance historical or artistic influences with your personal style, and how do these influences manifest in your work today?
Answer: I am inspired by nature, travel, and the beauty of different cities and landscapes. I also admire artworks that create a strong sense of atmosphere. I try to balance these influences with my own soft, emotional style, using colour and detail to tell a personal story.

How do you use your art to evoke emotions, and what role does emotion play in your creative process?
Answer: Emotion is very important in my work. I hope my paintings give viewers a feeling of warmth, peace, nostalgia, or wonder. Through colour, light, and composition, I try to create a quiet emotional connection with the viewer.

5. Standout Projects
Can you share a project that stands out to you and describe the creative process behind it?
Answer: One project that stands out to me is Moonlit Nectar. In this work, I wanted to combine the beauty of Singapore’s night skyline with tropical nature. The process involved building layers of light, reflection, and colour to create a peaceful moment between the city and the natural world.

How do you incorporate feedback from critics or audiences into your work, and how do you balance this with your own artistic intuition?
Answer: I appreciate feedback from others because it helps me see my work from a different perspective. At the same time, I try to stay true to my own intuition and feelings. I believe growth comes from listening carefully while keeping my personal artistic voice.

7. Motivation & Inspiration
How do you stay motivated and inspired, even when facing creative blocks or challenges?
Answer: When I face creative blocks, I try to step back, observe nature, visit beautiful places, or simply give myself time. Inspiration often returns through small moments, such as light on water, flowers, birds, or memories from daily life.

How do you feel about exhibiting your artwork with The Holy Art Gallery, and what does this opportunity mean to you?
Answer: I feel very honoured and excited to exhibit my artwork with The Holy Art Gallery. This opportunity means a lot to me because it allows my work to reach a wider international audience and connect with people beyond my usual surroundings.

What are your long-term goals and aspirations as an artist, and how do you plan to achieve them?
Answer: My long-term goal is to continue developing as an artist and to share my work with more people internationally. I hope to keep exhibiting, building my portfolio, and creating paintings that express beauty, emotion, and meaningful stories.

What do you hope viewers take away from experiencing your art, and how do you aim to connect with them on an emotional or intellectual level?
Answer: I hope viewers feel a sense of peace, warmth, and connection when they experience my art. I would like them to pause for a moment and feel the beauty of nature, light, and quiet emotions within the painting.
