I have been immersed in art my entire life. I attended Interlochen Arts Academy for high school. I majored in painting, drawing, ceramics, and wood cutting. In college at SAIC, I traded fine art for motion pictures. At the start of the Bosnian / Kosovo conflict, I left the film and served in the US Army as a Tank Commander in a forward-deployed battalion. I later obtained a master’s degree in producing from the American Film Institute and founded Decipher Entertainment, a film production company. I have amassed over thirty feature credits as a Producer. I combined my film and military training by filming in over fifteen countries. But just like my return to filmmaking from the military, I returned to fine art with tireless, renewed focus and a wealth of inspiration to express... After meeting people from all walks of life, all religious beliefs, and political views, I am reassured that the beauty of humanity lay in its spirit of diversity, thus my artwork is a mirror into the human spirit.
